If the file is too big for a cd-rom or to e-mail, then please contact to set up an account and password for Springfield's secure FTP site.

Preferred File Formats

CAD files in their native formats are preferred. Unigraphics, AutoCAD®, SolidWorks® or SurfCam™.

Exchange formats, for files originating from sources other than those above can be provided, in order of preference:

1. STEP (3D files)
2. Parasolid (3D files)
3. IGES (2D and 3D files)
4. DXF (2D files)

Other exchange formats may be usable as well (with varying degrees of success). Please contact if none of the above are convenient.
