Turbine Disk Roughing

Turbine disks can be rough machined to various "V", "U" or near net shape profiles, eliminating the need for expensive holding fixtures and roughing broach cutters. This allows the use of smaller broach racks and smaller broach machines or allows larger broach machines to be set up for multiple parts at the same time – eliminating lengthy changeover and process qualification times.
